Event Information

Name of Event: Building, Organizing, and Planning for Cool Cities Teams
Description: The Chapter's Cool Cities Campaign will hold a training workshop at the Cubberley Community Center in Palo Alto to give you the skills to organize and energize a Cool Cities City Team and seize the opportunities in your city.

For this training the Chapter's Cool Cities Campaign is partnering with the Greenbelt Alliance and the Planning and Conservation League to provide presentations and facilitated break-out groups. The presentations will focus on how to develop a strategic plan and recruit new members to your team.

We will then obtain team reports from several of our Cool Cities Teams. These reports will be followed by facilitated break-out groups focused on developing part of a strategic plan for achieving the goals of the Cool Cities Teams.

If you have ever wondered how to energize your existing Cool Cities Team or wanted to form a new Cool Cities Team in your city, this event can provide you with training you can use!
