    Name of Event: Climate Action Team Training Series- Session 6 of 6
    Description:

    Be part of our Climate Action Team Program and learn how you can reduce your global warming emissions and those of organizations that are part of your life-- all at low or no cost. Let's make low-carbon behaviors a reality

    This 6-part training series on individual and institutional action is brought to you by the Chapter's Global Warming Program with advice from behavior and energy efficiency experts at Stanford’s Precourt Institute for Energy Efficiency.

    Through lectures, exercises, and a group project, you will:
    1. Set goals and reduce your global warming emissions
    2. Form teams to take these ideas to others
    3. Focus on how to impact an institution to which you have a connection

    The training series starts on Sat. Oct. 3rd with a 1-hour training in Palo Alto from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. The series continues with additional 1-hour evening sessions from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM on the next four consecutive Thursdays (Oct. 8, Oct. 15, Oct. 22, and Oct. 29) in the Palo Alto area. One final follow-up session occurs on Sat. Nov. 21 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM.

    RSVPs are required. Attendance is limited to 20 people and all participants must commit to attending all six sessions which utilize behavior and design approaches to reduce global warming emissions. We will maintain a waiting list. A materials fee of $10 for Sierra Club members and $15 for non-members will be charged during the first session.
